WOE Update- Week 23: Total weight loss 34 lbs! Y'all read that right. Even after a gingerbread cookie feeding frenzy yesterday, I still managed to lose another pound! I was totally not expecting my scale to tell me that this morning! 6 pounds to goal weight. I'm not sure if I'll hit my target by my birthday on January 17th, but it'll be close!
As the cold temperatures have arrived, I have discovered a downside to losing all those extra pounds. Y'all. I am FREEZING! If this keeps up, it's going to be a loooong winter. I guess it's a good thing I'm not spending all that extra money on junk food now, because we're gonna need it to cover the higher heat bill this year!
In other news, Neil's been home from work at normal time a few nights this week....but I still haven't seen him much. He's finally gotten a chance to work out in the garage on his wood projects. It's freezing cold out there, so I don't venture out there much to visit with him! I'm glad he's finally getting to play a little with the things he enjoys instead of just dropping dead from being so tired after long days at work. fuchsia bridesmaid dresses
Connor and Dad came home empty handed after their deer hunt this past weekend. Oh, well. Better luck next time.
Kayla came over with my mom and a couple of her girl friends this week for a dress fitting. I've got a couple of adjustments to make to it so it will fit her better. I can't wait to show y'all pictures of her in this beautiful wedding gown after the wedding in January! I still can't believe my baby girl is getting married!! How did she grow up so fast?
I'm still churning out baby hats for the American Heart Association's Little Hats Big Hearts program. My goal is to have 100 of them to send in by January 10th. I've got 47 made so far. I'm averaging about 5 hats per day, so if I keep up that pace, I should have no problem reaching my goal.
Until next week, have a great one, God bless, and I love each and every one of you!
