Interesting take. I'm a big Nugent fan, and I certainly agree that his stances have not helped him. But on the other hand, Kiss, Deep Purple and Rush took 20+ years to get in too, and by any standard, they are bigger than nugent. The issue I see with Ted is that he was one of the masses and not a true pioneer. But then on the other hand, he destroys Joan Jett, who had no hit albums, 1 hit song, and 1 re-make hit, and she just got in.
