If you had to marry again or if you'd like to get married, What would be your dream wedding be like?
If I ever marry again, my dream wedding would be this; cheap and cheerful!
I would wear one of my long vintage dresses and a wrap. I would walk across to my local church with my man, and meet our guests there. Get married then have a picnic in the field with all our guests. We'd just put bunting up in the trees. Music supplied by a wind up gramophone, (someone I know has one ... ). The guests just have to bring a picnic blanket and their own picnics. I'd then provide them with champagne with chocolates and strawberries. Then we'd cut the wedding cake and drink more champagne or tea and cakes. Photos can be taken by friends. No expensive photographer. No speeches. Just nice gentle classical or jazz music and chatter. After our guests have gone home, our taxi, a vintage car, would take us to the train station where we'd board the Orient Express that takes us to Paris for a week.
