This past weekend I was with over 100 ladies and a handful of men. And there were many, many amazing moments when God's presence was unmistakable.

But one that continues to warm my heart is watching my friend: a successful, well-respected, middle-age, white man kneel down at his 20-something year old daughter's feet, in the presence of his wife--and cry like a baby, asking his daughter to forgive him for not being there when she needed him. Can't fake those tears! Couldn't s simple casual wedding gowns added With sleeves for large size women ... cript this!

My respect for this man shot up a thousand points. Why? Although he was one of the spiritual leaders of the weekend, his humanity came bleeding through. He was emotionally available and seemed unconcerned that he was in a room full of people! This is the gospel Jesus preached.

That one experience, may have done more for his daughter than we may ever know. And also for his wife and all those present--not to mention him! My friend's humility persuaded me all the more that I am speaking from the heart of God with a progressive word for His church! Thank you, my friend! I love you, Brett Ellington !
